ukipdaily.com Weltanschauung and the System - UKIP Daily | UKIP News | UKIP Debate flyer [Ed: “Weltanschauung”: ‘worldview’, a concept fundamental to German philosophy (see wikipedia )] In my last article “A Bit of Systems Theory” we had a look at basic systems theory 101 and how it relates to our country’s systems, political, economic etc. We can carry on this analogy much further though, carry it on beyond the hard systems methods of models and prototypes used on a daily basis by engineers and systems analysts. We can carry this on into the nebulous and shadowy world of ‘Soft Systems,’ a world not fully understood by many and occupied most often by psychologists and academics. When we design, redesign or make changes to a system, we need to start with a Weltanschauung or world view.   An interesting piece by "Flyer" ukipdaily.com A Bit of Systems Theory - UKIP Daily | UKIP News | UKIP Debate flyer I find systems theory a fascinating subject, particularly the way that we conceptualise situations and arrive at solutions. Well, if we consider the toothbrushes as part of a crew hygiene system or even just look at the heads, o

LEGAL OPINION GIVEN TO THE CABINET RE: 'BACKSTOP' lawyersforbritain.org Legal Advice to the Cabinet on the Northern Irish "backstop" - Lawyers for Britain By Martin Howe QC The Attorney General’s advice to the Cabinet on the Northern Irish “backstop” has been in the news, with demands for it to be made public. Here, Martin Howe QC, Chairman of Lawyers for Britain, sets out his own advice to the Cabinet about what they need to consider if they are thinking of agreeing a backstop with the EU which is subject to a review mechanism.  So this is the advice I would give the Cabinet. The current “backstop” is not legally binding First, the baseline of the legal advice is that the existing text about the “backstop” dating from the December 2017 so-called Phase 1 Agreement is not legally binding. This backstop text consists of two ambiguous, confusing and internally self-contradictory paragraphs in a Joint Report by the UK and E
